Something a little different today. Cove are an Irish two-piece electronic band (Philly Ryan and Colm Connolly). Regulars will well known we love to make the introduction early on and that’s what we’re doing today. We’re tipping Cove for a bright future.
Below are two tracks from their debut EP. The first, ‘Silohuettes’, is a really nice melange of sounds and melody. Building throughout, it rises from almost chillwave to boppy, electronic, Le Galaxie-like indie-rave. ‘Guests’, the second track, is more up-beat and a body mover from the start. Cove, I could see being very well received at the likes of Electric Picnic and it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see the pair in Stradbally come August 30th, the potential is definitely there!
