Diynamic was certainly a label which impressed last year. Headed by deep house king Solomun, the label consistently brings a sultry sound of summer. There is a wealth of talent on their books including Karmon, Uner and David August to name but a few. This strength and depth of this label enables Solomun to dish out a weekly Diynamic radioshow brought to you by one of his highly talented artists. DJ Phono’s October 2012 show was one which particularly caught the eye here at WWD.
However, this time we’re taking a look at the second installment of their Neon Nights Sampler. A four track release features the work of label chief Solomun and NTFO, but the productions from Adriatique and Betoko really tickled our fancy.
Adriatique open’s the EP with Catch The Light and Betoko closes it with Sky In Your Eyes. Both are deep house gems with distinct synthy disco vibes. It’s just a taste of what the label has to offer and having seen how well the sound went down last summer season, it’s sure to be even bigger this year. WWD recommends.
