Jamie Smithson aka Rektchordz is a new name to us and we’re very, very glad that he popped up on our radar today. We decided his thoroughly enjoyable music warranted a little post and so here you are.
The Bristol based producer had already made a bit of a stir with his earlier and heavier breaks productions, one of which earned him the breaks ‘Tune of the Month’ vote from Mixmag not too long ago. He has focused his talents more recently on the deeper, Korg M1 driven side of things and the results of this new direction we think are really quite tasty.
