The dance gods have been good this time around. On the tenth birthday of our beloved Electric Picnic we’ve received one of the more tasty dance orientated lineups in recent years. They waited long enough to finally announce but it appears the wait has been worth it with luminaries like Fatboy Slim and Bjork taking their places alongside rising stars such as Disclosure and Baauer (Yes there will be Harlem Shaking in Stradbally this year!). It’s no secret WWD are massive fans of the man formerly known as Norman Cook and it seems he is a very popular choice as the main dance attraction. The addition of the likes of Disclosure, Baauer and people like Chvrches also gives the festival a steady helping of up and coming talent. Full lineup is below. This years festivities will take place Aug 30th – Sept 1st with weekend tickets €189.50 until July 28th and €229.50 after that.
P.S Nice to see our very own Mano Le Tough get a well deserved spot this year, expect a big turnout for him!
