The guys over at Bodytonic have had a treat lined up for Dublin’s house heads for a while now and we’ve very much been looking forward to it here at WWD! Tonight George Fitzgerald makes his highly anticipated appearance at The Twisted Pepper and if the booking alone wasn’t enough to entice the fans, the limited €5 ticket promotion by the generous promoters certainly was!
If 2012 wasn’t good enough for the Londoner with the resounding success of the Child EP and the stellar production that was Every Inch, Fitzgerald’s 2013 started off with a bang. In January he was featured on The Essential Mix as DJ Heidi’s ‘future star’ . He was given this title for good reason and the mix was nothing short of sublime. Packed full of floor fillers and the signature experimental electronic sound that his fans love and adore, it was a mix which left nothing to the imagination. He packed it all in and I’m sure he’ll do exactly that come 1AM at Pepper.
He proved that wasn’t just a once off for 2013 with a superb b2b Boiler Room set with Scuba in February that was to just as high a standard. A staple track in both sets was his latest production, a remix of Close Ft. Scuba – Beam Me Up and that massive track is sure to go down a treat to the revellers packed into Pepper later on.
