Really impressive new EP from Dashka. It’s called “Soleil/Tequila” and it’s a perfect summer release. “Soleil” is a funky little beast. We’re loving the elements of Swing House in there, not to mention the carnival sounds that fill the breakdown. The second track, “Tequila” is a more progressive offering but still retains the summer vibes. The melody in this one the main attraction, it hooks you in from the start. It’s great to see some homegrown talent smashing it in the big room department, though we shouldn’t be surprised, the Cork man has already won support from Steve Angello, John Acquaviva, Judge Jules, Funkagenda, Matteo DiMarr and more.
“Soleil/Tequila” is forthcoming on Canadian label DBR Recordings, the house sub-label of MC Flipside and A-Divizion’s PBR Recordings.
