We first heard this one over on Annie Mac’s Friday evening slot on BBC R1 a month back and it certainly got our attention. Bassline is a catchy number from GotSome that goes down a treat and it seems it’s also hit the spot for many a DJ having since been spun by MistaJam and Pete Tong on their respective shows.

GotSome are a house and bass duo out of Bristol and Bassline is the title track on their debut EP alongside ‘Don’t Want You Back’ and ‘On Point’ which are both bangers in their own right. It’s a cracking EP. No wonder it’s been snapped up by Defected Records. After a string of massive summer releases including Mind Your Step, Andy Daniell as head of A&R for Defected is on the ball again because this one’s sure to be big! It’s an infectious track featuring vocals from Get Along Gang and GotSome provide the groove. It’s fit for both radio and club systems and we expect to hear this one a lot! It has all the ingredients for a resounding success and we’re sure it’ll do just that. It’s out today on Beatport so grab it while it’s hot!
