What a treat we have in store for you today! Frenchman Traumer has just unleashed his fantastic album Takt on Herzblut Recordings the imprint of German DJ and producer Stephan Bodzin. The Paris based artist has been on our radar for some time with the wonderful Sofa tickling our earbuds last May.

The ten track LP has a number of highlights as it traverses from deep and blissed out right all the way to pumping techno. Standout efforts include the breathtaking Quantum, a 10 minute journey which would undoubtedly influence a dancefloor to collectively lose their minds. The album also contains the slightly more groovy Flume which utilizes a hip hip style vocal chop to good affect along with some energetic chords and a bulging bassline.

Of the more laidback efforts Louve is certainly a talking point with its interesting percussion and cinematic style, this one would be right at home in the soundtrack of a psychological thriller.

Other tracks of merit include Cyclo (a massive track in its own right) and Dayzero which do not fail to get you moving. This should be just the beginning for the man from Avignon. Bon chance!
