Very fitting that rising Malmo producer Ascorbite (aka Edgar Ariza) launches an equally promising and local label in the form of HMWL. House Music With Love , as many will known, is a renowned and respected blog out of Malmo, Sweden, but ‘Origin EP’ represents their first foray into the complex world of the maison de disques. Such is their prowess for tune selecting, however, it should come as no surprise that 001 is a hot record.

The lead on the release, ‘Origin’, is a deep, atmospheric affair with a distinct tribal feel to it. The snappy perc, the low kick and the distant flute make for a fine musical ensemble. This one has HQ vibin’ in seconds. Track two, ‘Filten’, is a similarly groovy number, while ‘Frighted’ polished off what is for us a very solid first release from the Swedish imprint. Early support on this one from by Stacey Pullen, EZLV, Maximiljan, Eelke Kleijn and many more. It drops July 7th.
