House music veteran Pete Moss helps Ovum, the label founded by Josh Wink and King Britt,  celebrate 20 years in the business with proper summer anthem in the form of ‘Tried To Tell You’. The tender melodies and groovy bass-line, the standout elements for us. Very much an easy listening experience.

A quality return from Moss who released 6 EPs on the Ovum imprint between 1999-2003. He doesn’t plan to stop there, however, he has big things in motion for 2014, which include an original album.

The B side comes from Karizma, who’s put his unique touch to the track, funking things up big style and taking a different melodic direction. The remix is seeing huge support and has also been spun recently on BBC R1 by Mr. Tong himself. Both tracks are out now!
