On Friday 17th October, Defected Records return to AIR Amsterdam with another stellar lineup for this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event.
In the main room is Defected In The House, with a lineup featuring Sam Divine, Noir & Franky Rizardo, all regular acts in the Defected In the House lineup over the past few years both at ADE and Ibiza. Performing alongside them is Oliver $ – Defected’s guest resident at Booom Ibiza this summer and the man responsible for Ibiza anthem ‘Pushing On’. Closing the main room is a live set from special guests Hercules & Love Affair, bringing their unique brand of disco-influenced house. Known for their energetic sets and the anthemic ‘Do You Feel The Same,’ Hercules & Love Affair are a welcome addition to the Defected In The House lineup.
In the second room DFTD, Defected’s sister label, takes to ADE for the first time bringing with it some of the hottest artists of 2014, and a lineup that reflects the label’s underground focus. Sonny Fodera’s ‘Beats & Business’ EP and Krankbrother’s ‘Thank You Baby’ were among DFTD’s most impressive releases of 2014. Flashmob, needing no introduction, have released some massive tracks on the heavyweight label in recent years, none more so than ‘Hot’ or ‘Need In Me.’ And Cristoph is really one to watch. The producer has been consistently putting out quality tracks on DFTD all year – among those, an epic remix of Classixx’s ‘Into the Valley’ and last month’s outstanding ‘Do To Me’ EP.
Amsterdam Dance Event is a five-day club festival hosting over 300 events in 80 different venues, attracting over 300,000 visitors and some of the world’s biggest DJs. This will be Defected’s fourth consecutive year at AIR Amsterdam and with plenty of familiar faces for those who’ve attended the event in recent years, and some impressive additions in the form of Hercules & Love Affair, Oliver $ and Cristoph, Defected in the House is sure to be one of the highlights of the week.
