Halloween Weekender Preview: Part 2 – Zed Bias + Woz

31 October 2014

What a treat Dublin is in for this Halloween weekend. With German house extraordinaire Claptone leading proceedings tonight at The Button Factory it seems their Weekender is kicking off in style, however there have also been many heads turned by the fantastic lineup for part 2. Tomorrow night November 1st under the umbrella of Sense, Pod Presents and Trinity Ents, will see garage and breakbeat legend Zed Bias joined by up and coming talent Woz for what promises to be a potent night of diverse electronic music.

Zed Bias is no stranger to these shores of the course of his long career (perhaps his most well known release Neighbourhood was way back in 2000) and it is certainly a welcome return for the English electronic musician. Having performed under a wide variety of pseudonyms over the past few years including Maddslinky and as half of Phuturistix the veteran will finally hang up his headphones following his current run of dates, much to the disappointment of his many fans. So with that in mind this Saturday’s show at the Button Factory will certainly have some extra significance. His fearless blend of house, breakbeat, garage and techno sure to be appreciated by Dublin’s clubbers.

Alongside Mr Bias, we have the prestigiously talented Woz who has been smashing it of late with a number of well received efforts including somewhat of a breakout record on Black Butter. Veering to the more house side of affairs he will provide the perfect compliment to the heavier grooves of Zed Bias.

Tracks to keep an eye out for: Woz – Feel, Woz – Trust Meh

Tickets: Halloween Weekender Part 2 with Zed Bias + Woz
