This one almost slipped under the radar, but not quite! Birmingham based Subb An has had a stellar year by all accounts cemeting his reputation as an innovative producer with delicious releases on the likes of Mobilee and more recently Crosstown Rebels. Having already rolled out the magnificent Say No More featuring vocals from S.Y.F back in February, he return to the rebels this week with another vocal bomb in the form of Vapour Trails. With vibrant percussion and a vocal hook to die for the release is everything we’ve come to expect from the talented producer.

This is a vocal bomb which has slipped slightly under the radar for us but we’re expecting a slow burning success. It’s also complemented by 3 fantastic productions in their own right, the more subtle Terrace Mix, an incredibly abstract mix from Mathew Herbert and a B side which packs the kind of punch we love to hear at WWD.
