The mysterious Auden returns to Hotflush this month with a four track EP that is guaranteed to shake you to your very core. We’ve done plenty of deliberating in the When We Dip office over who this so far unrevealed producer might be but it would be a safe bet to assume it’s someone of excellent pedigree thanks to the startling production levels attached to the project.

The EP itself effortlessly moves from thumping techno to more down tempo realms encompassing both the big room techno piledriver that is Lock In and the energetic bomb named Perished. Auden’s productions pack a serious punch, combining swirly synths and well placed stabs to cultivate something that has that distinct Hotflush sound but also manages to introduce a fresh element. In between the techno gems is a down tempo delight in Xirox which gives a bit of fresh air and showcases the more delicate sound of this secret alias.
