London producer Christian Piers gets released on Dusky’s label “17 Steps” with “Beat Wiser EP”, where we can find three old school oriented techno tracks, entirely made with low res and drum machine samples.

The first production called “Offf” is completely focused on the snare swing, all the other instruments round like satellites around it, and after every pause the whole ensemble makes each drop engaging. The analogue madness continues with “Beat Wiser”, an acid bassline sequence accompanied by linear and fixed rhythm structures give to the song a dark and alienating motif. “Onn” closes the EP, charming the listener with an ethereal drum loop, where the conga and some fxs hold the helm, covering a fundamental role for all the track duration.

“Beat Wiser EP” will be published on March 16th 2015.
