Berlin Atonal is set to return to Tresor‘s sister space Kraftwerk between August 19th and 23rd. The festival, famed for it’s collection of avant-garde installations, experimental audio-visual shows and great afterparties, returns this year for the next instalment of their impressive event series.

“The cavernous Kraftwerk cathedral will open its doors to a host of figures operating in and around the world of experimental art and music, providing a setting for Atonal’s continuing project of providing a platform for innovation and experimentation encompassing all dimensions of creative expression. Alongside this, aftershows at Tresor, OHM and various other venues in the massive Kraftwerk complex will also provide a full programme of Atonal’s unique take on club music.”

The first ten acts of the festival have been released, with more to come in the following weeks:

Outside The Dream Syndicate (Tony Conrad & Faust), Sums (Kangding Ray + Barry Burns of Mogwai), Alessandro Cortini of Nine Inch Nails presents: Sonno – Live A/V, David Borden + The Mother Mallard Ensemble, Ugandan Methods (Regis + Ancient Methods) – Live, Mike Parker – Live A/V, Fis – Live A/V, Ena – Live A/V, Chra – Live, Ryo Murakami – Live

For more information about the festival, head over to their Resident Advisor page or website.
