Cocoon & Audiomatique talent Jacob Phono follows up two quality collaborations with Jens Bond (on the Explain EP and on the remix of Rebel One’s “Far Away”) in addition to a scintillating rework alongside Subb-an earlier this year with a lethal new two track EP this month.
Today, we’re delighted to present the lead on the release exclusively via When We Dip. “Late December” is an intricate cut, an emotive and meaningful piece from the Berlin-based producer, dj and singer. Wavering arps, a warm bass-line and soft atmospheric touches make for an ethereal audio experience. It’s coated with apt vocal interjections from Janine & LillyMu. The track lifts the listener and has them drift away in an eight minutes journey of utter splendour.
