Nite Records have announced that their next release will be that from 219 Boys on June 23rd. Elric Weibel and Scott Holland from California aka 219 Boys will release a three track EP.

Nite Records are currently unleashing some top quality EPs at the moment and this latest release from the 219 Boys is no different. ‘West Side’ the EP opening and title track sets the groove for what is to be the perfect kind of EP. The track itself is hard, heavy and in your face with its powerfully deep bass and energetic tones. ‘Sundown’ gives off an intense vibe that once it begins you know all too well that this track is about to kick off into something truly impressive and it does just that. It’s similar in taste to ‘West Side’ but it has everything you want and more, from a punchy bass line right along to some softly worked synths. ‘Jack That’ is a bit calmer than the first two tracks but in no way less impressive, it has a sweet groove that devours you whole and absorbs you right into the track, moving you to every beat.
‘West Side’ is a fine release from the 219 Boys and a duo to keep an eye on for future releases.
