The Beatyard Is Back This August!

When We Dip
Dublin, Events, Ireland
4 June 2015

Having celebrated their 10th edition over a 10 day extravaganza across many of Dublin’s best venues back in October, The Beatyard has just announced this year’s lineup and details, with a little twist. Bodytonic, Archetype and Hidden Agenda have once again teamed up, this time bringing The Beatyard to Dun Laoghaire Harbour for a weekend of music, food and drink by the seaside on August 1st and 2nd, with a cracking lineup to boot.

Hosting the likes of Joy O and Ben Klock in years past, this year’s lineup has once again delivered with an eclectic mix of acts. On Saturday, the harbour plays host to Madlib, Lindstrom, disco legends Sister Sledge, as well as a much anticipated b2b set featuring Eamon Harkin (of infamous Brooklyn label and party Mister Saturday Night/Mister Sunday) and Glasgow duo Optimo. Sunday features Swedish artist Neneh Cherry, reggae and dancehall legend Barrington Levy, Brazilian drum & bass don DJ Marky, not to mention London disco kings Horse Meat Disco and of course, the inimitable Four Tet.

The exceptional music lineup is complemented by offerings from some of Dublin’s finest purveyors of food and drink, and the ‘Gamesyard’ will feature Graffiti, a mobile Barcade and Pinball Parlour, a sneaker fair, and a vinyl depot by The Record Spot, all overlooking Dublin Bay.
