The beginning of the lifecycle for a festival always connects far more prominently with the festival goer than a festival which aims for masses over creating experiences. Business is business I guess, but it’s always refreshing to hear of a festival starting off for some amazing reasons, promoting culture, heritage and pleasure through the medium of electronic music.

Lisb-on is one such festival, located in the beautiful capital of Portugal, Lisbon. This festival directly connects with its capital, willing locals and tourists and music lovers to take a chance and indulge on what the festival and its city has to offer.

Located in the beautiful Parque Eduardo VII, LISB-ON #Jardim Sonoro takes place during the day with some excellent DJ’s and musicians playing all weekend. After your finished in the garden, various after parties will be taking place, located across the city in clubs, bars, hotels, galleries and restaurants with programs specifically conceived for the two nights.

The Festival combines an amazing assortment of international and local DJ’s, 2014 had some amazing performances from Moodymann, Dâm-Funk, Roy Ayers, Carl Craig, among others.

This year the 2015 line up is just as impressive, featuring Jazzanova Feat. Paul Randolph, Nina Kraviz, Michael Mayer, Todd Terje, Andras & Oscar, Mirror People & The Voyager Band, among many others.

The reasons to book a flight are simple, your situated in one of the coolest capitals in Europe, with beautiful weather and amazing music, what’s not too love? Tickets are a steal at 25e per day.
