Kiasmos set for Dublin date with Hidden Agenda this November

The intricacies of how a track is put together will always be something that attracts me to Electronic music, how a track is composed, how each beat, instrument or sample used is layered and put together. The subtle nuances that occur for only the briefest of moments within a track, can sometimes define the very essence of your appreciation for that production. That is why experimental and underground appeals so much, creatives seeking the next sound to define a movement, to create and push the boundaries of their craft further.

Kiasmos are a duo who embody such experimental creativity, but none the less back it up with rigour and a live passion, that captivates the crowd in a manner only synonymous with electronic music. Anyone who was lucky enough to catch their appearance at Body and soul 2015 can vouch for it. Made up of Bafta award winning composer, Olafur Arnalds and his talented partner Janus Rasmussen, this duo has put together some extremely pleasing minimal compositions, experimenting with ambient and heavy electronic combinations, creating some excellent tracks, that sound incredible live. Kiasmos are most definitely worth the entrance fee, make sure you check them out when they play here.

Hidden Agenda present : Kiasmos, @ Dublin’s District 8 on November 21st.
