UK imprint New Violence Records hits lucky number thirteen. Delivering the latest release for the rising label are SCI+TEC pair Figueroa & Obando. The three track release, titled ‘As We Wander’, showcases their dark tech blend at its finest. Dubfire, Marco Carola and Carl Cox have all been fawning over their output and their NVR product is yet another piece set to excite. Today, the guys share an exclusive full premiere of ‘Honne’ with When We Dip Readers.
‘Honne’ is a slowly building slice of tech house planted in an ominously dark atmosphere. The track is centred around a punchy kick-drum, fluttering vocal snippets and a rolling set of hi-hats. It’s built on an incredibly tightly knit groove, consuming the listener and transporting them to an ethereal out world.
