4 September 2015

Belfast techno icon Phil Kieran continues to excite! The Turbo Recordings and Soma producer follows up the presentation of new A side ‘Battery Acid’ with an apt partner in crime. Coupled with the haunting, upfront tech cut is an equally impressive production titled ‘My Piano Gently Weeps’.

The B side a more subdued, groove-focused affair, which revolves around a shuddering set of piano keys and a tightly-knit drum ensemble. The track is coated with beautifully panned stab sounds, perforating the beat with incredible texture. The track offers an ethereal breakdown, which overflows with wavering synths. The pause emits a blast of euphoria before mysticism departs and the piano-line returns to close out the composition. Check out the exclusive video premiere below!

The release date is set for 28 September on his very own Phil Kieran Recordings.
