Following on from the hugely popular HNNY Edits, Berlin-based brothers Kyodai have been enlisted by Local Talk to add a second edition to their edits/rework series. As expected from the Swedish label, the 9-track release employs plenty of classic house flavours, but the brothers have also included some superb tough cuts to keep the energy levels high.

If the artwork wasn’t a giveaway in itself, Jay & Luis’ sampling skills can be heard on their rework of Shuya Okino’s jazzy ‘Still in Love’ – a track that takes the listener on a true journey. For those seeking a true heads-down club track, the edit of Andreas Saag – ‘In The Box’ ticks all the boxes. WWD Recommended!
