To many, this Friday at District 8 could stake a claim for the biggest club show of the year.  Dublin welcomes two of the biggest names in the techno scene and a double team that is sure to have punters watering at the mouth. After selling out two previous shows in Dublin, the Irish born and bred Matador will be gracing us Dublin’s techno bastion with close friend and fellow Enter. resident Paco Osuna.

From the moment you hear the name ‘Matador’ it instantly brings to mind fond memories not for those abroad but also Ireland’s electronic music faithful. Gavin Lynch has come a long way in just 4 years. From small beginnings as a regular on the Dublin circuit, he plotted a carefully devised route to the top. Matador’s polished sound gained popularity rapidly each milestone followed by another in quick concession. Ever since he dropped his debut EP ‘Kingswing’ on Richie Hawtins ‘Minus’ his reputation has flourished & from working with Richie he has gained not only a huge audience to for his sound but also a residency with Richie’s renowned ENTER. It is from here where Gavin was really able to perfect his live-show a fact that was recognised with his award for  Best Live Performer Ibiza 2014 at the DJ Awards.
