UK House maestro Montel has been on fire of late. 2015 has seen the Belfast-based producer juice his stock with a sling of killer releases on the likes of Kerri Chandler’s Madtech, Skream’s Of Unsound Mind and Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound. His latest release ‘Dance Community’ keeps the fire burning. The EP is forthcoming on Supernova’s Lapsus Music, a label which has become a go-to outlet for four-to-the-floor dynamite in recent months.

Today, we’re delighted to bring WWD readers an exclusive from Montel’s latest masterpiece. ‘The Path’ is a hypnotic b-side centred around a dark, consuming bass-line, a tightly knit groove and an aptly assembled ensemble of shrill fx. It’s a near eight minute cut that’s revolves very much around the journey. Check it out for yourself above!

Release date: October 12, 105
