Premiere: Kommune1 – Axiom (Effy Remix) [Infinite Machine]

Francoys
Berlin, News, Techno
13 November 2015

Montréal based Infinite Machine was established in 2011 and since then has played as home to many up and coming talents such as Tsunga, Ill Life, Troy Gunner and Effy. Their new release sees Leisure System alumnus Kommune1 join the fold with ‘Immolate’: a tight four-tracker of moody techno that also sees Effy return to the label with his own cut of ‘Axiom’.

The Effy remix stays true to what has, over the last year or so, become the modus operandi of the Irish but Berlin based producer, borrowing only the moody vocal from the original. A pounding rhythmical low-end takes the lead while the hypnotic melody permeates warmly through, coupled in parts with skittering atmospheric stabs. Having recently garnered support from Berghain resident Boris, be sure to keep a tab on who is becoming one of Ireland brightest techno talents.

Kommune1’s ‘Immolate’ is slated for release on November 27th, 2015
