As if a little gift for the New Year, San Diego based FNGRS CRSSD have released their first round of acts for their upcoming March festival, and it’s looking pretty good indeed. The festival is bi-annual and relatively new to the SoCal music scene, but their few previous ventures have been an outright success. Their earlier October CRSSD Fest catered for all tastes with performances from Nicholas Jar, Maya Jane Coles as well as Todd Terje and Detroit Swindle.

The festival is always refreshingly free of the high-flyer, mainstream EDM acts that dominate most of Southern California’s clubs and as a result the weekend is mostly consistent of those infamous SoCal good vibes. The Waterfront Park is divided into three areas, each with their own line up: the Ocean View stage, the City Steps, and the smaller, more intimate Palms.

With San Diego’s impeccable weather and both sides of the city in view from every stage, CRSSD provides lush views like no other. Within the festival, there is always plenty of space to wander and enjoy the music as well as the food and drink. The park is lined with local San Diego vendors serving up a wide range of festival munch and SoCal brews.

The new line up includes performances from Odesza, Tycho, Ben UFO and Gorgon City (Check out full list below). The event has much to offer house and  techno connoisseurs with the likes of Jamie Jones, Claude Vonstroke and Green Velvet all attending. We’re very excited to see the subsequent line-up announcements!

Check out their website to see the rest of the line up and get your hands on some advanced sale tickets.
