Desert Hearts all set for Spring festival

2015 saw San Diego based festival Desert Hearts celebrate their third birthday, and this year they’re back with the bang. The festival has a similar feel to Burning Man and like Coachella, it’s big enough to attract names like Claude Von Stroke or Doc Martin— although there are no VIP luxury packages or boutique weekends on offer 😉

Despite the less-luxe feel of Desert Hearts, tickets still range from $120- $200 (versus a hefty $375 for Coachella), and anyone expecting a loosely organized hippie affair will be surprised by the sound, layout and high production quality. With only 3,000 tickets and one stage, the festival is the most intimate in Southern California but has a reputation for being one of the best weekends for dedicated techno fans. Los Coyotes has zero cell phone reception and everyone, including the organizers, camp out in home made tipis. Set times are almost non-existent, and the bass-heavy house and techno tunes run 24 hours for the four-day festival.

Last year’s line-up featured the likes of Andreas Henneberg, David Scuba, Goldcap, and Mark Henning so we’re definitely ready for this year’s release!

Ticket’s are already on sale with the line-up to follow, but we have no doubt it’ll be a good one so make sure to get your tickets early.
