Joran Van Pol – Exist (Rejected)

Dutchman Joran Van Pol has continued his successful development over the past 12 months off the back of an initial breakthrough with EP’s on both Minus and Sci+Tec. In more recent times he has become a close collaborator of Joris Voorn releasing regularly on Rejected and even working alongside the tech king on ‘Sonic Highway’. The Awakenings mainstay returns this month to his current label of choice with a 3 tracker that will surely further enhance his growing reputation. The 50th release from Rejected, ‘Exist’ is another step forward for Van Pol. The title track will garner the vast majority of plaudits, it’s haunting samples and deliciously light percussion is exactly what we’ve come to expect from the talented artist. Withdraw is the heavier of the three tunes, it’s high tempo build and thumping drop making it one for the peak time while Eventuate is a more rhythmic affair, it’s low menacing bass providing energy throughout. All in all, another successful outing for Joran Van Pol.

Exist is out now on Rejected
