Munich boys COEO are stealing major spotlight this month with a killer new EP “Back In The Days” forthcoming on Berlin-based imprint Toy Tonics. We’re talking house music at its finest! The lads have crafted an ensemble of five ludicrously tasty cuts, which vary in pace and focal-point. ‘Jugendstil’ is the more subtle and laid-back (but equally impressive) groover from the bunch. The track chugs along with a heavy kick-drum and an old-school bass-line accompanied by sounds of slapping bongos and a irresistible set of disco-esque keys. The break sees the addition of a wavering arpeggiator and a smoothly low-pitch vocal sample. This one has us yearning for the sunshine. What a way to start the week!
