Montréal-based outfit La Famiglia Recordings kicks off the new year with a bang, delivering a heavy five tracker from Tony Dee and company. Joining the Italian producer on the release are D-Unity, Peter Bailey and Dj Richie Santana, who all occupy remixer roles on the EP. It’s a powerful ensemble of upfront techno weapons, unrelenting and riddled with dark grooves. Today, exclusively via When We Dip, you can catch a full stream of D-Unity’s unforgiving rework.
The Toronto producer, known for works on the likes of Transmit Recordings and Toolroom Records as well as his own Unity Records, has rendered a booming cut, which leaves nothing to the imagination. It’s focus is raw power, centring itself around a thunderous kick drum, harrowing percussive touches and whaling vocal samples. It does not disappoint. Check it out above!
