Every once in a while you come across a pure tech house EP, one that leaves you mesmerized from the first track. Montreal based DJ/Producer Stonehouse unleashes a pulsating 4 track EP by the name of ‘Cinco De Mayo’ on ‘Minds of Sin‘ and it is a pure dancefloor stomper! The EP consists of two original tracks and two remixes by Nonyas and German Valley.

We also recently sat down with Stonehouse for an interview which can be viewed here.

The EP opens with the title track ‘Cinco De Mayo’, a pure powerhouse techno track which builds up from distorted vocals, minimal beats and blasts into a heavy bass that transitions into some striking percussion. Next up is a remix by Nonyas of the original ‘Cinco De Mayo’ track, Nonyas strips the original down adding in some haunting male vocals. The bass on this one is huge and Nonyas brings in a variety of hard beats and melodies and really makes this one his own. Another remix of the original sees German Valley produce something quite unique, the buildup on this one will definitely get any dancefloor moving at it heads into an explosive euphoria, German Valley have created a real crowd pleasure with their remix and it sets up the final track perfectly. Finally we have ‘Tru Water’, be prepared to be blown away by this tracks irresistible bass and other worldy synths, all fused seamlessly together by a groovy melody and burly beats.

‘Cinco De Mayo’ is out now and can be purchased on Beatport.
