Incoming: Jamie Jones Visits Dublin

Marcus
Dublin, Europe, Events
31 March 2016

There’s an air of anticipation in Dublin ahead of what will be another huge night for a burgeoning electronic scene this Friday. Jamie Jones returns to the capital for his first club show in many years and it appears all roads lead to Ireland’s largest clubbing spot The Wright Venue. Jamie Jones enjoys almost mythical status in Ireland thanks to a string of high quality releases over the years and an almost effortless style which will no doubt see TWV looking more colourful than ever on Friday night.

The man behind two mammoth music brands in Paradise and Hot Creations has continued to push boundaries over the past 12 months with EP’s like Siberian Express showcasing his propensity for unearthing new sounds and edits like his little ditty for Fink – See It All showing he isn’t afraid to experiment. In fact the year has brought about a larger than usual number of releases encompassing remixes for the likes of Jey Kurmis, Catz N Dogs and Damian Lazarus as well as an original EP on Kerry Chandler’s new Kaoz Theory moniker. The man known as JJ has picked quite an occasion to arrive on Irish shores (ahead of Life Festival later in the year). Hats off to Strictly Deep who have consistently pushed the boundaries of what has been possible for club promoters in Ireland this year. They’ve also added a healthy smattering of talent to the undercard with Kaily & Dan Stritch set to make an appearance as well as Elliot and our very own Hugh G & Marcus.

Tickets: Jamie Jones @ The Wright Venue
