After the success of Ost & Kjex’s new LP “Freedom Wig” on Solomun’s Diynamic imprint, the burgeoning label revisits the record with the help of some standout remixers. Stepping up to the plate are Rampa, Christian Löffler, Johannes Brecht and label head himself Solomun, who have all turned in their own unique takes on album singles. Stuttgart producer Johannes Brecht, returning to the label after the success of his Stekker EP with Stimming, has rendered a beautiful acoustic remix of Heart Of Gold – a track you can hear in full today via When We Dip. Brecht brings a fresh touch to the track, combining an ensemble of organic sounds with the original vocals in a dynamic (excuse the pun!) rework. It travels through a constant metamorphosis offering an inimitable listening experience.
