22 April 2016

April 25th sees 1605 Music Therapy chief UMEK welcome one of the biggest names in UK house and techno – Toolroom Records head honcho Mark Knight.  The man needs little introduction having become a name synonymous with the rise of the underground over the last decade. He’s crafted countless classics, built a burgeoning label himself and after all hat the Maidstone man still shows little sign of slowing down any time soon. Knight’s debut on 1605 follows the much acclaimed fourth edition of the ‘Bullets’ series, a release led up by ‘Fall Down On Lee’, as well as a notable collaboration earlier in 2016 in the form of ‘Rocket Man’ with House legend Cevin Fisher.

Joining Knight on the new single release is veteran producer/dj Alan Banjo, (also working under the guise of J Nitti). Banjo is noted for previous works on the likes of Carl Cox’s Intec Digital imprint. The pair have come together to present ‘Bang!’ – a harrowing late night groover, which you can check out in full premiere exclusively via When We Dip today. The track is defined by a relentless, dark energy making it an optimal peak time cut.

Release date set for April 25th, 2016.
