UK producer Pierre Codarin follows up releases on the likes of Resonance Records, Saints & Sonnets and Kerri Chandler’s Madtech imprint with a brand new three tracker on Huxley’s label No Idea’s Original (founded in 2015). Codarin, who’s recently garnered support from the likes of Raresh, Mr G, Laurent Garnier, Jackmaster and Truncate, has brought an ensemble of spicy cuts to the table and, today via When We Dip, you can check out an exclusive slice from the offering. ‘D Express’ is a powerful production with a relentless groove and distinct wiry texture. Rapid-fire hi-hats set the tone early accompanied by a thumping kick drum and a crushed clap. The groove builds well surrounded by aptly placed layers, which see the eventual addition of a wavering melodic element. Grab a listen below!
