The well regarded Israeli/Italian producer Whitesquare has teamed up with Luca Agnelli’s Etruria Beat family to release one the best EPs to drop in our mailbox of late.

We reviewed Dast’s high quality ‘Pangea EP’ which featured on the label at the start of the year and the standard has certainly been kept to that same height here. The Whitesquare original is on point techno.

Known for his melodic brand of tech house, his latest release sees our friend take a more obscure and tougher path on “Nightrain”. Dark beat, gloomy bassline and hollowing chord stab create a deep and moody techno gem.

Add that all to a big breakdown with some eery vocals and you’ve got the recipe for a peaktime techno bomb! Yessir!
