Framewerk are a UK based DJ and production duo. Darren James and Alec Milliner have been established artists under various guises spanning two decades. Within that time they have gained the attention of Pete Tong, BBC Radio One, John Digweed, Soma and Mixmag along the way.
In 2013 Framewerk formed to encompass the sounds of deep house, chill out and nu disco. Their distinctive blend has found home to respected record labels such as Toolroom (where they mixed and compiled their Toolroom Poolside Miami compilation), Sleazy Deep, Armada, Spirit Soul and Prison Entertainment; with releases forthcoming on Dear Deer, Chapter 24, Dino Lenny’s Great Nights and Dave Seaman’s Selador imprints.
As well as this, the duo run their own Capital Heaven label, which continues to push fresh new talent in tandem with their prolific artist roster. In addition, their Tunnel FM monthly residency is consistently one of the highest played shows across the station.
In a relatively short space of time, Framewerk have balanced releasing a regular host of remixes and productions, garnering support from Nick Warren to Carl Cox to Tiesto, alongside playing their unique blend of house music around the globe.
