When We Dip | Premiere: Adrian Hour back on Suara with new 'Techno Tools' EP

Buenos Aires producer Adrian Hour returns to Coyu’s Suara Music with the twelfth edition of the label’s ‘Techno Tools’ series this May. To date the Argentinian has appeared numerous times in the series alongside artists like Boris and Jewel Kid, such his quality that he’s welcomed back into the fold with open arms and he brings with him four standout club-oriented weapons.

‘Avalon’ is a funk-fill bomb with an all-consuming low end element, while ‘Happening’ is a darker, moodier affair surrounded with an eery, tense atmosphere. As for ‘Connected’, it’s a dreary and hypnotic production. ‘Markers’ closes out the release with a relentless energy and an awesome rise to the climax. The release, which follows up a dynamite EP on Toolroom Trax and a remix opportunity on German imprint SNOE, marks another big step in the development of Hour, who’s grown from an unknown youngster to a mainstay in the techno scene.
