Shake The Foundation EP marks Dallas based up and comer Closed Caption‘s first official release, courtesy of LA based label Nite Records.

The opening track, ‘Sound The Alarm’ ft. KE, formerly known as Kid Enigma is a nice opener and one that packs a punch with some rolling vocals from KE that keeps the track on course. The title track ‘Shake The Foundation’ ft. Lacey Stars, a Dallas vocalist, features a dark and heavy bassline with vocals that match. It’s a deep groover that is sure to go down a treat with fans.

We also get an aggressive remix of ‘Sound The Alarm‘ by Bay Area based dj/producer FreeFall. This remix tears apart the original and FreeFall creates an exciting track that is full of textured layers, groove and ups the tempo with a driving bassline. Lastly, we also see an instrumental version of Sound The Alarm.

A tasty EP that hits all the right spots from Closed Caption.
