Charles Valentin

24 June 2016

Like Montell Jordan sang in 1995 ‘’ This is how we do it. It’s Friday night ‘’ ! The party has already started at the WWD HQ! Only one thing could be responsible for that and it’s the weekend weapons chart provided by our friends at Traxsource! For those who are in hurry to leave for the disco, here’s our little wrap up. Featuring acts like Andrea Carissimi, Makito, Purple Disco Machine and lots more!

5. Andrea Carissimi – House Stomp (Andrea Carissimi) [House Deluxe Recordings]

The Italian musician, house music producer, graphic designer and label owner Andrea Carissimi had the honour to be the very first release of the imprint ‘’House Deluxe Recordings’’. Funky record ! Vamos !

4. Fallout, Purple Disco Machine – The Morning After (Purple Disco Machine Re-Work) [4th Floor]

4th Floor Records first launched in 1987, then rebranded 10 years later. Releasing a new record after a few years under the radar. This one featured the one and only German producer Purple Disco Machine who gives his ‘’DeepFunk’’ touch in this rework ☺

3. Carlo – Infinite Improbability Drive [Neovinyl Recordings]

The second German in our selection this week : Carlo! And this time he’s back on his very own imprint Neovinyl Recordings ! Those beautiful piano chords won’t leave you indifferent. Press play!

2. Husky – D-Fine Jazz [Soul D-Vine]

The Australian producer Husky well know to incorporate organic musical elements to his production, blend jazz and funky grooves for this one! This will sure get you on the move.

1. Makito – The Message [Pocket Jacks Trax]

Grabbing the pole position in our selection this week it’s Makito with his last release on Pocket Jacks Trax. Groover, killer vocal and saxophone! This cut has everything in store to become a massive summer anthem!

Make sure to check the full chart below!
