Blind Motive Catch The Eye With New EP

Talk about kicking things off with a bang! London based duo Blind Motive have perked our eardrums with their new EP ‘Everything Is Black & White’ in a way that few techno acts have this year. Their well crafted productions Other Stories, 2nd Planet and Stranger Things Have Happened dropped Friday on Dino Lenny’s Frenetica Records and are quite the statement of intent from the northern boys. Other Stories is a moody groover of sorts, packing some main room punch but also showing off a few delicate touches we definitely approve of. Elsewhere 2nd Planet moves along at a flying pace, incorporating some no nonsense percussion and suspensful drama. The EP is rounded out by Stranger Things Have Happened which represents the most melodic part of the trio while still managing to pack quite a punch.

With support from the likes of Kolsch and Joseph Capriati it looks like Blind Motive are making big strides.

Everything is Black & White is out now on Frenetica Records.
