1 July 2016

Time to rejoice, people! The weekend has arrived and yours to enjoy but before we clock off and descend deep into the abyss, we’ve got your weekly supply of Weekend Weapons, courtesy of our friends at Traxsource – the home of modern house music. As usual, the When We Dip team has made their wildcard selections. Top notch jams fresh from the oven via Prince Club & Stonehouse and lots more…

WWD Selection:

5. Ian Pooley – Cold Wait (Bicep Dub) [Pooled Music]

Belfast boys Bicep kick off the selection with a powerful Dub mix on Ian Pooley’s Pooled Music. Awesome energy. Rawwwr!

4, Professional Gigolo – Etna [Audiomatique]

Steve Bug’s Audiomatique hosts Professional Gigolo and the awe-inspiring ‘Etna’, This one is pure fire. Simply but oh so effective. Top notch stuff 🙂

3. A Lister – Quentin [Strictly Deep]

UK producer A Lister leads the revolution at recently founded Dublin-based imprint Strictly Deep. ‘Quentin’ is a late night tech house gem – a roof raiser if we ever saw one.

2. Prince Club & Stonehouse – The Remedy [Nervous Records]

In at our No.2 selection this week, we see the return of Defected and Snatch! Records producer Prince Club, combining on relentless cut ‘The Remedy’ with fellow Montrealer and Minds Of Sin artist Stonehouse.

1. Black Loops – Get Lost [Gruuv]

Closing out the wildcard selection are Avotre and Toy Tonics pair Black Loops. These two have been a revelation over the last twelve months and there’s no end in sight. ‘Get Lost’ is a certified weapon. Forthcoming on Audiojack’s Gruuv imprint.

Make sure to check the full chart below!
