Traxsource X When We Dip: Weekend Weapons Chart – July 8th

Charles Valentin
Electronic, House, News
8 July 2016

It’s friday night and it’s boogie time! And what’s the essential ingredient for a proper boogie? It’s the music of course! Don’t worry, the WWD HQ have got you covered this week courtesy of our friends at Traxsource – the home of modern house music.

Today’s selection features neat cuts from Drop 2 Jump, KORT, Jose M. and lots more!

5. Drop 2 Jump – Green Light (Original Mix) [Nervous]

The North American label Nervous have a good one on their hands with this jackin’ record from Drop 2 Jump! Serious old-school flavour, grab a taste of it right here :

4. Jose M., Tacoman – Prazer (All Mixes) [Stereo Productions]

The columbian and label owner duo Jose M. & Tocaman aren’t exactly newbies to the scene. Exploring a lot of musical boundaries, the duo deliver an progressive track with spicy atmosphere and a bewitching melody.

3. KORT, Elementary – Try [Tropical Velvet]

Our second duo in the chart this week it’s Kort & Elementary the two London-based house heads are bringing a heavy weapon to the table here! This piano hook will surely get you in the zone. Enjoy!

2. Fred Everything – Hold On (Original Mix) [Lazy Days Recordings]

It’s the French Canadian DJ and Producer Fred Everything who has grabbed the second spot on the chart this week! He caught the attention of the WWD HQ with his latest release Hold On which took pride of place on the first part of an two part EP! Written in the past year during the transition between his move from San Francisco to Montreal, this one is WWD recommended.

1. The Funk District – My Woman [About Disco Records]

Closing out the wildcard selection this week is The Funk District with their most recent jam! Provided by the brazilian imprint About Disco Records. This nu-disco cut will surely awake the funky rhythms hidden deep in your soul ! Let’s boogie 🙂

Make sure to check the full chart below!
