Montreal producer Stonehouse steps up on London-based label Smiley Fingers with a top notch new three track EP titled The Opener. The Canadian is fresh from a powerful two tracker on iconic New York label Nurvous Records – a collaboration with Defected and Snatch! artist Prince Club.

Stonehouse hasn’t stopped to look around, following it up with an exciting new EP on Smiley Fingers (home to the likes of Rick Sanders, KlangKuenstler, Ray Okpara and more). Title track ‘The Opener (featuring Stoney)’ showcases once more the creativity the rising talent brings to the table, never afraid to push the boundaries, he’s crafted a brooding lead, which packs a dynamite punch.

‘Do You Believe’ is certainly a more groovy affair yet it retains a similar energy and those signature intricate melodic touches. It rolls with constant evolution offering a hypnotic trip into the deep.

Closing out the EP is ‘Get It Right’, an aptly lush groover with a pulsating bassline and jazzy interjecting set of stab sounds. Once more Stonehouse induces full sensory excitement with an ever-flowing production of supreme quality.

Out now on Beatport.
