Brendon Collins likes to do it all for Tulipa recordings. From label manager to producer, he also writes some eccentric press releases using flower names to describe his music! We find him today in stunning form for his new EP with partner in crime, Swyft. Their new release Nightstead / Mirage is a massive 2 pack EP. It is surely again Hypnotic techno as used as their motto in a consistent manner by Tulipa. Just ask Pete Tong his thoughts on it, Mirage just made it “Most Popular track of the day” on his Radio 1 show.
Mirage is definitely special, dark bassline, trance synth, a strong techno groove, in short, it’s a vibe coming from outta space and taking you very far away, play it once and that bass will stick in your head, no doubt. Nightstead is slightly more on the tech-house side, with a catchy vocal, an uplifting mood, a proper “flowerbomb” for any dancefloor as Brendon puts it, well done!
All respectful techno and tech-house DJs should have at least one of those in their bag or their hard drive. You wanna hear the sound of the future? There it is on Tulipa recordings!
