30 September 2016

Oh Yes, Oh Yes! It’s friday night and it’s time to introduce to you our wildcard selection from the illustrious Weekend Weapons Chart in partnership with Traxsource – the home of modern house music.  This week’s selection features cuts from the likes of Larse, David Penn, Tiga and lots more. Check the full selection below!

5. Larse –Beat Goes On [suol]

German veteran Larse is back on the Suol imprint. This time he hits the record shelf with a 4 tracker. ‘Beats Goes On’ is an emotional driven piece. Let the vibes take you away in an instant.

4. Maden (UK), Roland Clark – Enough Love (David Penn Remix) [Urbana Recordings]

Roland Clark, the voice behind Fatboy Slim’s seminal club track ‘Star 69’, gives a few deep and soulful lines on the latest cut of Maden. The Spanish producer and Dj David Penn steps into the creative process and gives it his own twist.

3. Tiga – Make Me Fall In Love (Edu Imbernon Remix) [Turbo Recordings]

Selected by Tiga himself to remix his ‘Make Me Fall In Love’ cut, Spanish producer Edu Imbernon dresses the track with incisive synth lines coupled with a warm low end. Top quality remix approved by the WWD HQ.

2. Massimo Voci – Runner(Patrizio Mattei Remix) [Cut Rec Promos]

This one is all about Funk! Funky guitar, funky vocal, funky drums and of course more Funk! James Brown would groove to this one ☺

1. Ritmo Du Vela – Strictly Jazz (Original Mix) [i ! Records]

Number one spot this week has been takin’ by the fresh new talent straight from Mexico : Ritmo Du Vela. This heavy-bass driven jackin cut will surely make you spend a few extra calories on the dancefloor. Let’s Jack!
