UK producer Citizenn (Crosstown Rebels, 2020Vision, Madtech) lines up a top notch new EP on British label Abode Records (the music outlet of the established London events brand) later this month. Early support from the likes of Jamie Jones and Pete Tong gives you a rapid indication of the quality of the record, which follows up the impressive Human Interface EP on Crosstown Rebels. Bedrock and Knee Deep In Sound artist Montel joins him on the release, contributing in a remix capacity on b-side ‘Slide’. The unrelenting ‘Say It Like U Mean It’ leads the EP bringing a dark four-to-the-floor ensemble to the fore, it blends slashing hi-hats, a thumping kick drum and an-all consuming low-end element in a near eight minute dinger.
