7 October 2016

Alright, alright, alright, it’s Friday night! Hot summer breezes are behind us now but the When We Dip fam has everything in store to warm you up a little before the disco madness. We’re delighted to present the latest edition of Weekend Weapons in partnership with the home of modern House Music – Traxsource. This week’s edition features acts like Antelm, Riva Starr, Greco and lots more!

5. Antelm – Fugue [Heat Up Music]

The 22 year old French producer Antelm provides a surprisingly effective blend of jazz and soul loops with a chunky bass-line. It’s all about the music 😃

4. Riva Starr, Dajae – The Loft (Emanuel Satie Remix) [Cajual]

The long time partners in crime Riva Starr and Dajae team up once again for the love of house. But this time Emanuel Satie steps into the creative process to give his own twist to the cut. Energetic drum fills, killer vocal chops and a tension rising breakdown. Let’s dance!

3. Greco (NYC), Pinto – For The Love (Original Mix) [Inhouse]

New York city is known to be a centre of artistic talents and theses two house heads don’t disprove that. Heavy kick-drums and nervous hi-hats. The recipe for a House banger.

2. Skapes, Golf Clap – Coz Im Ready [Defined Music]

With an effective blend of nostalgia and today’s sound, Skapes and the duo Golf Clap, deliver a dance floor weapon. Dynamic flow and alluring snares patterns. We’re definitely ready for this one.

1. Natural Rhythm – Something Big [Robsoul]

Sitting on the highest spot of our wildcard selection this week it’s Natural Rhythm with their last piece on Phil Weeks’ imprint: ‘Something Big’. Organic feel and funky grooves. This feel good jam will surely illuminate your face and get your body into motion.
